| Wellness Program Manager<br/>Location: Hanover, NH<br/>Employment duration: Full time<br/># of openings: 1<br/>Shift: 1st Shift<br/>Pay range:<br/><br/>Description<br/><br/>The Wellness Program Manager is responsible for implementation and management of a sustainable wellness program to support a culture of wellness at Hypertherm. Manages, designs and implements policies, procedures, and programs relating to a wellness program and activities designed to improve associate health and well being. Facilitates changes and/or additions to programs that reflect the changing needs of the associates.<br/><br/>Responsibilities<br/><br/>Review and analyze the effectiveness of the current programs in terms of financial ROI and health status improvements, develop recommended improvements and implement improvements and new programs as appropriate. Develop metrics for baseline and on-going performance management of Wellness Programs. Promote programs that prove to be of high value to associates and the company. Communicate and educate Associates and Leaders on the business value of good health and wellness.<br/><br/>Integrate the various wellness initiatives into a cohesive program and promote this program both within the company and outside the organization. Manage vendors to ensure excellent service and high value to associates and the company.<br/><br/>Act as a champion for company's health and wellness program and as an internal consultant and health management expert. Lead global Wellness Committee and create pull for programs from the associate population.<br/><br/>Develop, plan and manage the implementation, administration and communication of associate health and welfare benefit programs for the company ensuring consistent information and processes across the company. Leverage resources, develop tool kits and manage the delivery of clinical services related to wellness among associates, including exercise programs, stress reduction, health education, and health promotion and prevention management of chronic conditions.<br/><br/>Manage relationship with on-site cafeteria and improve nutritional value of offerings.<br/><br/>Qualifications & Skills Required<br/><br/>* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.<br/>* 5 to 8 years experience in a benefits analyst/coordinator/specialist role is required along with 4 years focusing on wellness (Experience in benefit design and Human Resources preferred.)<br/>* Ability to manage multiple priorities and to adhere to tight deadlines is necessary in order to manage projects and processes within the timelines allowed by law and projects with various contingencies attached to tasks.<br/>* Excellent communications (oral and written) skills required.<br/>* Proven ability to manage vendors.<br/>* Strong analytical skills, accounting and a good understanding of benefit plan designs.<br/>* Computer proficiency with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Extensive knowledge of principles, theories, and practice of health promotion, lifestyle, and behavior modification and disease/condition management<br/>* Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.<br/>* Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.<br/>* Performs a variety of tasks.<br/>* Leads and directs the work of others.<br/>* A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.<br/>* Strong interpersonal and communication skills required – proven ability to influence behavior Nearest Major Market: Hanover, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Performance Management, Management, Program Manager, Manager
