In-House Editor and Asset Manager (Also available as an internship)
Job Description:
This position is primarily responsible for editing in-house projects in conjunction with in-house shooters and contract shooters providing raw footage. Secondary responsibilities include asset management of raw footage and finished work.
Editing to include
Asset ingest and cataloging
Editing to a creative treatment
Basic text treatments
Basic coloring
Basic motion graphics
Exporting roughs for proof
Incorporating revisions
Exporting for final delivery
Asset management to include
Publishing final exports to appropriate channels
Assisting external producers with raw asset and final export needs
Assisting internal staff with final export needs
Maintaining archiving and backup routines
Cataloging final exports
Skill Requirements:
This position's responsibilities will require these skills:
Minimum 5-years experience with an NLE, Final Cut Pro preferred
Minimum 3-years experience working with motion graphics software, Motion or After Effects preferred
Experience working with XDCAM EX and VDSLR workflows
Experience coloring with industry standard tools
Experience with asset management software including backup and archiving solutions
Experience with online publishing including YouTube, Vimeo and iTunes
A positive, proactive approach to your work
Collaborative spirit, particularly to creative development of a project
A passion for storytelling
A love of cycling, experience in the industry preferred
