Verizon Enterprise Solutions Product Manager
•Minimum 12 years related work experience
•Minimum 5 years experience either developing products or solutions for business customers, with emphasis on enterprise customers
•Must have minimum 5 years experience of successfully leading sales engineering related organization and former VZB engineering experience in datacenters, cloud computing is a plus
•Strong project management skills to execute on roadmap, moving a project from inception to completion
•Strong teaming skills, particularly the ability to drive and lead development projects within a matrix-managed team environment
•Strong organizational skills including issue tracking, problem resolution and ability to escalate issues and potential roadblocks. Provide recommended workarounds and alternative solutions.
•Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Able to communicate in a targeted manner towards executives, customers, sales and engineering staff. Strong interpersonal skills, plus proven relationship building abilities
•Ability to manage multiple high-visibility, high priority complex technical projects
•Ability to facilitate collaborative resolution of differences with a ""win-win"" approach
•Ability to Work closely with sales teams, customers, and strategy organization to understand and document customer requirements, use cases, market trends, etc. as it relates to VES vertical solutions
•Experience writing marketing requirements and developing processes to launch products to a diverse sales organizations
•Experience in construction of business cases and revenue forecasts to support investment of new, innovative services specifically for the enterprise segment
•Ability to create use cases with a focus on delivering a quality customer experience
•Understanding of competitive solutions in the enterprise space w/ focus on at&t and sprint
•High technical aptitude to understand networking technologies and handheld devices. This includes BB, Android, Apple operating systems as well as 3G (EVDO) and LTE. Define and provide technical requirements for device marketing team and networking teams such as PDI
•Knowledge of IT systems for sales, order, provisioning, billing and repair are desired but not required

BS in Engineering required, MBA preferredThe Manager in Product Development/Management for Verizon Enterprise Solutions (VES) Marketing will be responsible for product requirements, portfolio management, prioritization and strategic portfolio evolution for business products and services in VES. The primary area of focus for this role will be identifying, prioritizing and driving vertical requirements for solutions, products and applications with emphasis on top VES verticals ((Utilities/Industrial, Healthcare/Retail, Manufacturing, Pro Services/Media, Financial Services/Insurance, Transportation/Construction/Distribution and Government ) for enterprise customers primarily and small-to-medium business customers secondarily. Lead cross functional team for product launches (write IT requirements, business needs, business case/forecasts, competitive analysis, GTM content, field communication, promotions/packages). Develop Product Plans and Roadmap for lifecycle management using detailed KPI reporting and analysis.
The Manager will own the business case process; submitting supporting documentation and partnering with key implementation organizations (network, IT, finance, and go-to-market) to ensure projects are appropriately funded, prioritized, and delivered on time, with the required capabilities, and within budget.
Successful launch of new products through the VES Gate Process is critical. Drive cross functional team including: IT, Network, Legal, Finance, Testing, Trials, GTM, Compensation, Sales, Customer Service and ensure clear understanding of business requirements and impacts to systems/network.
The Manager needs to partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements/needs. The individual will be accountable for defining the vertical solutions story for the assigned vertical products and prioritizing roadmap projects based on market opportunity. For each roadmap project, the individual will define the Marketing Service Requirements; including a detailed description of the requested capability, use cases for how the customer will leverage the capability, the characteristics of the customer experience, and the incremental subscriber and revenue forecast for the solution.
