We are seeking a Traffic Coordinator for our Network. Under regular supervision, this position is responsible for interfacing with the Production department, Sales department, OAP, Finance and Programming to ensure formats are scheduled correctly. Duties include entering local and national formats into the Wide Orbit Traffic system; scheduling formats onto the commercial logs; and coordinating the creation of commercial formats for locally originated programming. Schedule programs on logs with appropriate formats.
Create and input show formats with associated program titles, inventory codes, video format and bugs.
Work with local programmer, producers, sales, management, team partners and venues to create and distribute local formats and format schedules.
Review the daily discrepancy reports; and research issues related to show formats detail and scheduling. Resolve issues for future logs, and distribute the results to appropriate staff.
Distribute current log schedules to appropriate internal staff
Backup Log Editor in particular, and other Traffic Coordinators as necessary.
Qualifications
2-3 years experience in broadcast traffic experience
Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable working in a team environment
Knowledge of Traffic software, MS Excel and MS Word.
Must be self-motivated and maintains a high level of attention to detail.
Can remain composed under pressure and tight deadlines.
