Investment Banking Business has made a huge investment for building a long term Office products strategy (Project Berlin). Igor Moochnick was the development manager & chief architect for Project Berlin - Codename for Common Office & Deals Data integration in Office Analytics suite and productivity tools inside Office. This is the most critical and Important Project for this department for 2011 & 2012. There have been Client demos and commitments for Investment Banking Customers. Business needs to replace his position to fill is his critical role of architect to manage 10-12 EPAM contractors and provide technical oversight on the office product strategy.
Responsibilities:
Drives technical design and implementation. Proactively raises issues if specification will lead to quality, system performance, or architectural issues in product. Participates in technical design reviews, functional specification reviews, and contribute to development project estimates, scheduling, test plans, and code reviews. Proactively identifies and resolves potential problems/issues including authoring of technical specifications. Recommends action plan and communicate issues to management and product managers. Has good understanding of Maelstrom framework and hands-on experience with Views development using Maelstrom. Regularly informs manager on progress of project, identifying risks early in the process. Collaborates with Business Analysts and Product Designers to ensure understanding of business requirements. Demonstrates self-directed and proactive approach to tackling problems and leveraging resources. Proactively mentors fellow developers/architects in areas of expertise as well as members of other departments. Ensure non-functional requirements for the projects are proactively identified analyzed, designed and built into the components being delivered. Review the Unit test case and the testing approach used by the team. Work with the Architects community and understand overall direction for the organization. Convey this to the team in a meaningful, implementable way. Random code sampling and reviews to ensure best practices are followed.

Required Skills:
7 years' experience developing software in a high technology environment. 4 years' experience in C#, .NET development (recent experience). Certification (MCSD/MCAD) as well as contribution to journals, user groups etc. are desirable. Experience in the use of agile processes and test driven development a big plus. Experience in the use of Design Patterns - MVC, MVVM. Strong OOAD skills, expertise with design patterns Comfortable in hands-on role in developing using dotNet and C# Previous experience with Reference Architecture development, standards specifications. Previous experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) - SOAP web services. Previous experience in web portal integration work that includes: Web Presentation; Single-Sign on; Authorization; Content Management; User Provisioning and 3rd party integration. Strong experience with the following technologies: C#, .NET, , , XML, XSLT, SQL, , IIS, Active Directory, Windows Server 2000 or 2003, Web Services. Previous experience with WCF, WPF, Silverlight a big plus. Experience in continuous integrated development is a plus.
