Technical Architect: Hardware
Chase Winters Worldwide (a leading retained executive search firm) is currently conducting several highly visible search initiatives for a Technical Architect, Hardware. The candidate will Provide Domain/ Technical consultation and participate in developing solutions with architects and key subject matter experts to validate complex technical solutions

Responsibilities:
Understands the complete product design life cycle process and involved in a design of Product/Board design adhering to the process.
Have designed a product involving Network Processors/ Microprocessors, High speed interfaces (PCIe, XAUI, SRIO etc) and has good knowledge in End to End product design, development and deployment.
Good understanding of System design concepts and can look through the design for optimization and design enhancements.
Have worked in Value and Sustenance engineering and assessed a product with proposal and solution.
Hands on with EDA tools for Schematic capture and can review PCB Layout design. High speed board design skillset with thorough understanding of the Signal Integrity concepts and can mentor the team with design and EDA tool set.
Understands the test equipments requirements for the design and has exposure in mentoring the team.
Good domain knowledge in Data networking and Telecommunication domain.
Good exposure to the product certification and compliance process.
Participate in discussion with customer, understand the requirements and identify the design gaps and bring out the solutions with comprehensive requirements document and solution proposal with design implementation and effort estimate.
Mentor the team in Technical Competencies and provides performance feedback of the individual team member.
Interface with the customer for issue resolution, provides status updates, Build customer confidence in teams ability to deliver in order to support high customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Must Have Skills/Certifications
1. Desired High speed design skills certification
2. Must have exposure EDA tools for Schematic capture, SI tools, PCB review tools
3. Project management tools
Technical Architect:
Bachelors degree is required (Master's a plus) along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in designing, developing and implementingor architecting information systems with listed responsibilities and skill sets.
