Systems Engineering Manager Argon ST
Boeing's Electronic & Mission Systems business area Argon ST, a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of The Boeing Company, is looking for an experienced Systems Engineering Manager to join their Airborne Systems Business Area. The Airborne Systems Business Area provides communications intelligence (COMINT) and information operations (IO) capabilities to DOD and intelligence community customers. Work efforts include from concept design studies through development, production, installation and customer field support.
Key responsibilities include: managing employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of systems and development engineering for COMINT and IO applications on airborne platforms; developing and executing integrated business area technical strategies, goals and objectives; and providing input on business area plans, policies and procedures. Also responsible for acquiring resources for business area activities to include personnel with necessary technical skills as well as defining, pursuing, capturing and executing internal research and development activities. Provide technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manage, develop and motivate employees.

Typical Education/Experience
Other Job related information
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 8 or more years' experience or Master's with 5 or more years' experience. Bachelor or Master degree from an accredited course of study, in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or like field. Strong written and oral communications skills to effectively communicate complex technical capabilities to current/potential customers and senior management with experience in developing briefings, white papers and proposals is required. Strong customer interaction skills to effectively communicate technical performance and capabilities is required.
