Systems Analyst / Administrator - DIRECT LABOR
The Systems Analyst working in the AT&T Single Stock Fund (SSF) Lab must operate / maintain the Standard Army Retail Supply Systems (SARSS) SARSS-1, SARSS2AC/B, and corresponding workstations. Ensure SARSS-O systems are maintained in accordance with Project Manager, Logistics Information Systems (PM-LIS) configuration management team and all current Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) and Interim Change Packages (ICPs) are loaded. Support interim testing through two levels of SARSS-O to assist functional analysts, provide on-site SARSS-O and Army logistical functional analysis. Assist with documentation concerning operations and file movements between the Corp Theatre Automated Data Processing Service Center-Phase II (CTASC-II) and Middleware, perform system loads, file conditioning, and operate the SARSS2AC/B during System Integration Tests (SIT). Coordinate and configure CTASC-II systems to communicate with the SARSS Gateway and the Defense Automated Addressing System (DAASC.) Assist PM-LIS with ICP testing when necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Operate and maintain six SARSS-1s, nine validation workstations, and two CTASC-IIs. Knowledgeable and proficient in SARSS-O operations, perform hardware maintenance, and troubleshoot software and hardware malfunctions. Ensure SARSS-O systems are maintained in accordance with PM-LIS configuration management team and all current IAVAs and ICPs are loaded. Proficient in Unix and Windows based operating systems, Informix Structured Query Language (ISQL), Microsoft Office products, and reading flow charts.
b. Support interim testing by performing parameter maintenance, file conditioning, operating the SARSS-1s and SARSS2AC/Bs, and providing the test results to the Functional Analysts. Knowledgeable on SARSS2AC/B database structure and CTASC-II and SARSS-1 file structures. Provide functional and technical guidance concerning SARSS-O and Army logistical functions. Assist with documentation development concerning operations and file movements between the CTASC-II and Middleware.
c. Perform SARSS-1 and SARSS2AC/B system loads, file conditioning, and configure communications for SARSS-1, SARSS2AC/B, Validation workstations, SARSS Gateway, Middleware, and DAASC in preparation for SIT. Operate the SARSS2AC/B during the SIT and monitor all file movements. Example of SITs are: SSF Milestone 1&2, SSF Milestone 3, National Guard Bureau Regional Medical Facility (RMF), The Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Vender Initiated Parts Reorder (VIPR), LMP Maintenance Program, Funds Control, Defense Logistics Management System (DLMS - LMP), LMP Partner Testing, DAASC FTP/SFTP Port Testing, and Exchange Pricing EP).
d. Track and monitor the AT&T SSF Lab GFE inventory, perform the annual GFE inventory, and coordinate with the AT&T Property Book concerning any change to hardware status.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret clearance is required.
