Strategic Integrations, Machine to Machine Manager
• BA, BS or equivalent experience required, Advanced Technical degree or MBA preferred.
• 5 years experience in Strategy, Marketing, Sales Operations, Sales Support or related field.
• Prior experience in machine to machine field. Familiarity with the M2M ecosystem, partners, platforms and strategies.
• Demonstrated project management skills to execute on tight timelines with changing priorities, moving a project from inception to completion.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with legal contracts.
• Proven organizational and interpersonal skills, plus proven relationship building abilities.
• Strong problem solving skills. Must be able to identify and escalate potential issues as well as implement recommended solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple high-visibility, complex technical projects.
• Ability to adapt to fast-moving environment and shifting Strategic Integrations, Machine to Machine Manager will support strategic transactions (M&A activity) as the tactical business lead over acquisitions transactions and strategic integration processes for key machine to machine M&A activity. This person will also contribute to M2M strategy development by interfacing with existing Verizon Wireless and Verizon sales and marketing organizations to validate and support strategic M2M initiatives.
• Drive target company preliminary evaluation, pre-signature due diligence, and acquisition transaction activities across multiple lines of business: Verizon Wireless, Verizon Business and Verizon as necessary.
• Ensure Cross-LOB Sr leaders understand and agree with acquisition strategy and assign resources to acquisition due diligence and integration.
• Ensure Cross-LOB management-level leadership understand and own their responsibilities for evaluation and due diligence activities, including target company management.
• Drive post-deal integration of target company and management into successor destination organizations.
• Coordinate resources and business issues across all lines of business for integration, including: HR, Legal, Financial Operations, IT, Network, End-User Support, Product Development and Marketing, Facilities, Training, Budgeting, etc.
• Facilitate input, recommendations and validation from the cross-functional, and field sales teams across all lines of business to inform strategic decisions and shortlist of acquisition targets.
• Execution of cross line of business operational items as part of strategic execution.
• Regular Operation Review Presentations and Status Updates.
