We have a great opportunity for a veteran financial Web journalist to join our team. The senior reporter will serve as a video correspondent for . In addition, you will host online discussions with top dealmakers through our webcast series and write occasional news and features for our publications.
The right person for this job should have extensive industry contacts in the financial sector and a comprehensive knowledge of the latest trends in digital publishing. Three years of journalism experience is preferred. On-camera experience is helpful but not required: if you are willing to learn, we are happy to teach.
Specific duties include:
- On-air video correspondent. Report breaking news and features; conduct one-on-one interviews with leading newsmakers. Offer production and video editing assistance, as needed.
- Moderate online conversations with notable dealmakers through our sponsored series of deal webcasts. Tap into network of sources to assist in securing top-tier guests.
- Write original web-only features and analysis, highlighting trends and data from across our portfolio of products.
- Lead the digital conversation in our social media channels. Do outreach to other news organizations and promote on Twitter and Facebook our videos, webcasts and stories.
- Leverage industry contacts to support our custom media, event audiences and online communities.
