We are currently looking for a Practice Consultant that can reside anywhere in the Mid-West, West Coast or South West regions.
The Practice Consultant is a member of the Managed Markets team. This position brings expert product and industry knowledge to lead the implementation and use of solutions for a designated set of the practice area's target customers and establishes a dynamic partnership to promote the use of Managed Markets solutions. The incumbent is responsible for participating in the execution of the Managed Market strategic business plan for Health Care Analytics. Responsible for supporting the Managed Market BU in offering consulting services, sales, expanding client relationships, and improving business development opportunities. Emphasis will be placed on leading a team of consultants providing consulting/specialty support services, participating in market strategy development and assisting in the growth of HA's Managed Care Business. Ensures that the team's responsibilities are executed in accordance with the strategic business plan, WK policies and as established by the Vice President of Managed Markets.
RESPONSIBILITES:
. Leads the development of a consulting organization specializing in solutions-based support, market strategy development, analytics and consulting services within the Managed Markets arena. . Executes customer service and support initiatives relating to Managed Markets products and projects. Implements context solutions (such as dashboards, executive summaries, audits and query tools) in conjunction with customer needs. Assists in the implementation of advanced modeling that addresses payer contracting and rebate optimization. . Plans and manages the team's workflow to ensure attainment of departmental objectives. Maintains current knowledge of regulations, standards and processes to ensure thorough understanding of the business landscape. . Actively engages in supporting management and employee development programs to meet Corporate and CU Talent Management objectives. . Develops and maintains internal and external relationships to include client groups, WK BU's, managed care organizations, industry and trade associations, government relationships, customers and vendors as required. Engages in outside activities consistent with the company's industry and community responsibilities. . Supports the maintenance of the unit's annual operating plan (AOP). Participates in the development of business objectives for Managed Markets. Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education & Experience:
. Bachelor's degree in business, sales or marketing
. 3-5 years progressively-responsible experience in either a managed market or analytical capacity in a managed care or pharmaceutical managed care organization or working with data deliverables required.
. 2 years experience in team management
. Superior written communication skills, one-on-one and group presentation skills required. Strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft office suite required.
Preferred Experience: SAS experience preferred.
