At the direction of the Director of Audit Services, independently manage a variety of audit projects with primary focus on evaluating and reporting on efficiency and effectiveness of operations, accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with rules and regulations. Participate with Senior Management to design and execute high priority projects and communicate results. Assume full responsibility to conduct routine audit projects including preparation of the annual risk assessment and resource plan and play an integral role in the design of the department's infrastructure. Provide leadership through the development of the department's audit specialists. Responsibilities include providing guidance, training and supervision on assignments, and promoting a collaborative relationship with clinical and operations staff at all levels of the organization, through interactions as a Compliance and Audit Services department liaison and business advisor.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management or related field with a minimum of 5 years of healthcare and/or project management experience required. CPA/MBA required. Previous audit experience preferred. Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills required. Must be able to function under time pressures and meet deadlines while performing multiple tasks.
