Some Relocation Assistance may be available for the right candidate meeting/exceeding ideal candidate requirements. Director level opportunitywithin the largest national clinical laboratory (Fortune-1000) in the emerging Healthcare interoperability arena. This individual will be responsible for leading the implementation of EMR Interfaces for Physician Line of Business.
Ideal candidate will * come from a household name Healthcare organization, and possessexcellent knowledge of EMR(Electronic Medical Records) & healthcare standards like HL7, ACO, ELINCS and HIE * have director level credentials and experience, including leading other managers and staff, and budget management * stable employment experience working as an employee for long durations with small number of employers * possess excellent communication and presentation skills. Required Experience: . Strong understanding of Laboratory Interfaces and their interaction with EMR Vendor Software . 7+ Years of Management Experience - 15-20 years of total overall industry experience . 3+ Years of Managing other Project Managers . Understand strategic direction of Healthcare IT and influence external standards bodies, including but not limited to HL7, ACO, ELINCS and HIE . 2+ Years of working with staff outsourcing firms . Ability to successfully manage >$2M budget . Excellent analytical, problem solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills . Six Sigma Processes (Green Belt/Black Belt a plus) . Excellent Presentation Skills . Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced dynamic environment . Insure staff meet their productivity goals . Experience managing remote staff . Active participation as a technical authority during sales calls . Strategize and prioritize future and current requirements for improved implementation efficiency and effectiveness . Staff the department with an effective organizational structure and personnel while maintaining cost efficiency . Management of staff augmentation vendors . Ensure Project Quality . Successful management of $5M+ budget
