As a UI developer you will be responsible for the architecture, analysis, design and development of the user interface for the communication solutions platform and associated solutions at LifeSize.
Responsibilities:
* Involved in all phases of UI architecture and development for a next generation communication solutions platform and associated communication solutions. * Will have the opportunity to work with technical leaders and innovators in the industry. * Will participate in reviews of architecture, designs and code. * Be part of a team that has complete product ownership and responsibility. Qualifications:
* 4-6 years of industry experiencedeveloping user interfaces using the latest DHTML * Strong command of web standards, CSS-driven/table less HTML layouts, DHTML (JavaScript 1.0-1.5, CSS1 CSS2, DOM Levels 0-2) cross-browser compatibility browser degradation strategies * Knowledge of and experience using Object oriented JavaScript * Strong trouble-shooting and problem solving skills. * Flexibility. Able to work in a dynamic environment * Strong sense of commitment and responsibility * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Strong track-record of technical achievement on production software * Product development (rather than services) experience and involvement of multiple releases of products deployed in the field§ Results-focused, team-oriented and a strong work ethic
* Good sense for usability in graphical UI design * Deep understanding of OOP and event-driven programming * Optimization techniques, dynamic content retrieval, state management, accessibility techniques, internationalization issues. * Previous work experience with PHP, Perl, Python, JSP, ASP, or other similar scripting languages is preferred * Previous work experience with Django, YUI, Dojo, JQuery, or Prototype to build production web applications is preferred * Knowledge of Apache and HTTP, state management, and dynamic content retrieval is preferred * Knowledge of web services (SOAP, REST, XML-RPC, etc) is preferred * Software:HTML, Javascript, CSS * Education:BE /B Tech (CS or EE background preferred). * Status:Full time, employee
