As a senior member of the team, you will be working with other software engineers, product managers, interaction and visual designers, user experience researchers, and quality team on building some of the core experiences for Yahoo! users. You will get opportunities to define next generation architecture for Login, Registration and Account Maintenance. If you are intrigued by the challenge of building highly scalable, distributed and reliable software serving millions of users, and creating a truly delightful experience for them, this job is for you! Requirements and Skills: · 8+ years of industry experience working directly with the full web technology stack: browsers, web servers, databases and network communications and protocols · Excellent command on C++ and Object Oriented Concepts · Strong communication skills and team player · Experience with UNIX/Linux, Apache or other web servers · Must have a good knowledge of web security · Good working knowledge of PHP · BS/MS in Computer Science or related experience · Preferable Job Qualifications · HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Perl, and cross-browser development Yahoo!
