The Online Content Manager will split their time between handling tactical content requests as well as working on mid to large strategic initiatives. The Online Content Manager will be responsible for managing content updates (daily, monthly, quarterly) and supporting the implementation of future enhancements that meet strategic goals. The successful candidate will be willing to wear many hats, believes strongly in the value of the web / digital media, and has a willingness to contribute to a culture of professionalism, innovation and teamwork.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate and publish all new content, including catalog data, images, and assets to third party fulfillment vendor as well as internal customer catalog web sites
Help define and implement workflow and processes that help assure quality, consistency, and scalability of data
Partner with internal stakeholders, lines of business, and customers to ensure content is relevant, accurate, and completely tagged
Have a solid understanding of search and metadata implementation for content
Provide creative and strategic input towards the enhancement of the tagging process and taxonomy structure
Assist in developing written business requirements for new functionality and tagging tools
Help develop content strategy based on business objectives and customer needs
Manage site issues and trouble tickets; both customer service, and technically oriented.
Use online analytic tool to assess site traffic and performance metrics to report back to business owners
Qualifications
Degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, Finance or general business.
3-5 years financial services industry
Account management experience.
Excellent writing, proofreading and organizational skills required.
Excellent communications and supervisory skills required.
Technical proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel required (Access knowledge preferred).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work well with co-workers, outside clients and vendors
