We are seeking a senior experienced level person with 8-10 years of experience.
This leader will be part of a small but dynamic communications team, augmented by top-notch PR agencies. This person will work closely with all business units (BU), corporate marketing (tradeshows/events, marketing communications and web) and across-BU teams. As a result, this individual must have strong cross group collaboration skills, strong project management skills, be detail-oriented and have a strong drive for results with an ability to build and drive consensus.
This person thrives in a fast-moving environment that includes numerous product launches, trade shows, and new announcements and can handle a dynamic mix of planned and changing programs with tight deadlines. The right candidate possesses superior written and oral communication skills, has acted as a spokesperson for a high-profile company or brand, and is comfortable discussing and explaining technology. Strong track record of business acumen and experience measuring ROI on PR activities. Ability to work as part of a team environment and ability to make key business decisions in a fast paced and ambiguous environment.
Requires a creative, dynamic and forward thinking individual who: • Has a passion for PR and has a mastery of the development and execution of communications, including writing and editing press releases, background materials, product briefs, and other written communications. • Is results-oriented and takes a proactive position in ensuring the integration and alignment of all PR campaigns with advertising, trade shows, and other marketing activities. • Is able to handle a wide range of projects with a high degree of independence and sound judgment. • Can conceptualize and produce programs, press releases, case histories, by-liners, backgrounders, brochures and collateral materials. • Demonstrates initiative in identifying and proposing enhanced ways to advance team, group, agency and internal client interests.
