We are currently seeking a seasoned embedded software engineer to join our world call development team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be contribute to the architecture, analysis, design and development of the communication subsystems for a next generation high definition video communications system.
Responsibilities:
* Involved in all phases of product development for a next generation high definition video communications system * Participate in the architecture, analysis, design and development of the product * Will have the opportunity to work with technical leaders and innovators in the industry * Will participate in reviews of architecture, designs and code * Be part of a team that has complete product ownership and responsibilityQualifications:
* 6 + years of real world experience developing real time communications protocols * Should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as a member of a small team * Experience architecting systems based products implementing the design and working with a team of experienced developers * Expert C programmer in a Real Time environment that involves memory and compute constraints in a non-PC, non-Windows based environment * Specific experience writing optimized code with embedded real time Linux environments * Experience in multithreaded environment, strong understanding of Linux, experience in writing drivers * Good broad experience in SIP, H.323, H.320 and ISDN systems with special emphasis on video applications * Experience with and knowledge of the capability exchange aspects of H.323 and as it relates to H.320 systems * Experience in working with a geographically distributed teams * Good knowledge of layer 3 and layer 4 networking protocols such as H.323, H.320, SIP, RTP, RTCP etc. * Strong knowledge of TCP/IP * Strong problem solving and debugging skills especially in a hardware/software environment * Strong design skills * Product development (rather than services) experience and involvement of multiple releases of products deployed in the field * Able to work in a fast paced environment, developing cutting edge technologies in a professional engineering environment * Results-focused, team-oriented and a strong work ethic * Software: C * Protocols: TCP/IP, ISDN,H323,H320,SIP,RTP,H264, H263 * Education: BE /B Tech (CS or EE background preferred). * Status: Full time, employee No third party resumes will be accepted for this position.
