Partner with the Direct team to develop strategic sales plans by tactic and channel (DRTV, radio, SEM, etc.) Partner with Account Management and Business Development teams to build sales plans that drive large partner program revenues The VP will drive performance in all areas of inbound sales by evaluating key metrics (via real-time data and interactions with the sites). The VP will be responsible for setting direction in the short term as well as creating a vision for future growth. Responsibilities: Development and performance of all sales activities for . Staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand sales potential of any campaign, to identify and communicate value propositions for the products and services, to communicate opportunities and threats based on customer interaction and feedback and to work closely with Business Development to ensure successful implementation and growth or programs. Develops the sales team from goal setting to establishing motivational strategies and compensation plans. Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability. Understands and gathers market intelligence from Sales Consultants, the internet, etc. to provide Business Development information about competitors, opportunities, etc. to help in considering business opportunities and threats. Understands the market in which the company operates and how the companys products and services are used within that market Ensure that company has an in depth understanding of the users of company products and their ongoing needs. Stratifies value proposition of products and services collaborating on web messaging, IVR messaging, and writing scripting for Sales Consultants to ensure high levels of sales success and accuracy or information and communications. Develop policy and procedures for all aspects of the sales operation from personnel and sales compensation strategies to call flow and service level requirements. Develop and implement compensation practices that ensure sales outcomes, are motivational, and consider financial goals of . Institute a variety of motivation and recognition strategies to drive Sales Consultants to achieve objectives. Establish and communicate sales metrics and goals. Deliver sales organization goals. Analyze metrics, budgets, and various reports about sales performance. Address unacceptable outcomes. Develop improved practices to ensure outcomes meet or exceed expectations. Lead director and manager level direct reports including setting expectations, managing performance, communication, disciplinary issues, hiring, terminations, etc. Collaborates with the Direct team to build an optimal selling process to enable scale of s direct services and software offerings. Minimum Requirements: 10+ years call center sales management experience. Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred Proven history of setting sales goals, managing to service levels, developing inbound/outbound campaigns, and developing sales strategies to obtain measurable results. Ability to build and lead a successful sales force with a proven track record, including previous experience managing management level employees. Demonstrated ability to develop, train and drive a sales team including developing creative sales compensation strategies. Personable with superior communication skills. Analytical skills, understanding of basic statistics and continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to work under pressure accomplishing multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to prioritize and organize work as well as manage change, flexibility to work any shift 7 by 24, 365 days a year.
