Position Overview:
Leads the client engagement and is the primary interface responsible for the quality and successful delivery of the client engagement. Supports people managers in coaching and mentoring team members, developing business, maintaining all practice elements (methods, documents, processes, librairies), performs research, presenting at events and delivering services at a Sr Consultant level.

Responsibilities:
1. Work with Corporate Sales and TELUS Security Sales Specialists to promote, position and sell PCI QSA and Testing engagements to enterprise clients by discussing the approach, value, TELUS core capabilities and relevant experience from other client engagements.
2. Oversee the planning and successful delivery of large complex, highly specialized projects/engagements.
3. Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced analysts/consultants.
4. Provide thought leadership in the development of the practice including the development of tools, methodologies and librairies.
5. Consult on advanced research and maintain thought leadership within and outside of the consulting practice, prepare papers and publications related to their subject matter expertise.
6. Provide strategic leadership on solutions for complex proposals (unsolicited and RFP driven).
7. Perform business development activities that support the pipeline and the TELUS sales organization.

Required Knowledge:
1. Superior PCI and Information Security knowledge.
2. Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
3. Superior consulting skills and able to interact and advise to executive level clients.
4. Strong business and financial acumen supported by strong industry and competitive knowledge.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Superior presentation skills and able to present to both a technical and non-technical audience at all levels of an organization.
7. Ability to maintain control of projects with exceptional leadership ability in resolving conflicting priorities, descrepancies, roadblocks and change requirements. advanced

Required Skills & Abilities:
The candidate will have the ability to:
* Assess, recommend, document and implement security management practices
* Leverage existing and new engagements with hands-on experience with IT governance, and in-depth knowledge of information security & privacy standards (ISO17799, ISO27001, COBIT, NIST, ITIL, GAPP) & legislative/regulatory instruments (SAS-70, SOX, B198, PIPEDA, HIPPA, PCI, MITS, etc.)
* Lead complex client engagements, acting as project prime and go-to person
* Demonstrate thought-leadership in IT Governance (strategy, policies & procedures, security standards, risk, compliance, current issues and trends)
* Communicate with senior executives (Excellent written and oral English skills), advocate organizational changes
* Create innovative solutions to problems that are diversified and complex and frequently involve new issues that may not have been encountered before.
* Interfacing between people of varying technical knowledge including business, sales people and technical engineers in order to develop and support solution proposals.
* Support the development of delivery strategies for clients, preparation and delivery of sales presentations and demonstrations.
Required Professional Designation/Certification:
Possess a QSA and one or more of the following industry certifications:
* CISSP / CISA / CISM PMP / ITIL SANS/GIAC certifications
* Other industry recognized Information Security certifications.
* Impeccable track record in the community and professional environment, eliciting moral values and the level of conduct required by GoC security clearance standards.
Required Experience:
Post secondary diploma and/or 7 - 10 years of equivalent experience The candidate will posess the majority of following directly related experience: 7 - 10 years of experience, including:
* Information Security, IT Governance consulting/advisory IT Audit, Reporting on Compliance Security Management, Policy & Procedure development, Governance Frameworks, Security Programs, Risk Assessment, Risk Management, Information Security & Privacy Assessments and Reporting Security Architecture, IT Infrastructure Processes,Data classification and handling models, Network security, architecture, Operational security (network, application systems security), intrusion and penetration testing, Incident handling procedures, IT audit experience TELUS Values:
