The person in this role will lead teams that will apply strategic thinking, discipline expertise, and functional knowledge to create innovative and effective communication solutions for our clients. You will partner with our clients to solve business and HR problems by engaging their employees to change behaviors and improve business results. You will develop and/or manage the delivery of fiercely creative communication materials in all media with the highest quality and profitability. You will partner with mid-size clients and/or manage large, complex assignments. You must demonstrate a passion for impressing the client while delivering business results for Aon Hewitt.
Key responsibilities include:
* Create strong, ongoing client relationships, becoming their trusted partner and influential advisor on communication issues.
* Consult broadly with our clients at a high level, serving as an engagement manager or project manager for large, complex organizations and projects.
* Manage the communication component of engagements requiring high levels of integration and partnering with design/delivery teams across Aon Hewitt lines of business.
* Assess a client's current communication state, then pitch custom solutions that ensure measurable results.
* Develop and leverage internal relationships that enable you to reach with confidence across health, retirement, and talent practices to ensure comprehensive, flawless communication solutions.
* Apply fluency with online solutions and social media trends to each engagement.
* Manage and motivate teams to create inspired communication deliverables.
* Help build a cohesive, high-impact communication team, leveraging other's skills and talents.
* Inspire team members to stretch their individual contributions.
* Take responsibility for your own engagement and the engagement of others.
* Generate revenue by identifying and selling new work at existing clients or new clients.
* Meet personal revenue generation and/or billable targets.
* Identify and follow up on new opportunities across lines of business and markets. Participate enthusiastically in generating proposals to support selling efforts.
* Manage teams and projects to ensure profitable delivery.
* Continue to grow professional skills in primary communication specialty and apply those skills with excellence in client situations.
* Develop client relationships that result in enthusiastic Aon Hewitt references. Education/Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in related discipline. * Minimum seven years of relevant consulting experience. * Demonstrated experience within defined HR area(s)(health and retirement benefits, total rewards, talent). * Demonstrated experience with technical skills defined for the role. * Demonstrated experience in coaching, leading, and/or managing people a plus. * Intermediate knowledge of MS Office. * Demonstrated organizational and project management skills. A * Advanced presentation skills. * Demonstrated business development and selling skills.
