Security Analyst / Engineer
Vaco Technology located in Richmond, VA currently has multiple opportunities available for Security Engineers both on a contract to hire and full time basis.
Responsibilities of these positions include:
Under general supervision, this fully competent role monitors, evaluates and maintains systems and procedures established to safeguard information assets from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
Provides technical and administrative support in the modification, design and set-up of applications security.
Evaluates and resolves security related problems and advises users on security issues.
Is responsible for working with multiple business units within a specific platform environment on multi-project assignments.
Experiences and qualities desired include:
Demonstrated experience with Juniper security technologies.
Demonstrated experience with VPNs, network routing, and network address translation.
Demonstrated experience with firewall security policies.
Demonstrated ability and focus on improving processes.
4-5 years experience in security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software communications and network protocols required.
