Facebook is looking for an experienced Facebook product specialist with a strong background in sales and marketing to join the ATX Learning and Development team as Sales Training Specialist, reporting to the Head of Sales Training. This position will work closely with the sales center of excellence in the L&D team, the Sales Development team, sales leadership in the region, and marketing and operations teams to develop and deliver key programs that will help sales teams influence clients to use Facebook as an indespensible part of their branding strategy. In addition, the person in this role will stay tightly integrated with the Facebook product teams to ensure that the sales teams are trained on the latest product offerings. Key responsibilities will include sales on-boarding and first 100 days support, supporting the learning needs associated with new product launches, tools training, and deploying some key third party or internal sales skill trainings. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Facebook product suite, excellent communication and relationship building skills, and experience in running global projects (sales training, new hire, client perception). Creativity, energy, and a solid understanding of the brand advertising sales environment in Facebook are also critical for this role. The position is based in ourAustin office and will require regular travel to other sales offices in Dallas, Atlanta and Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

Know the business inside out: get immersed in DSO, Mid Market, and SMB teams and understand how various roles play out in a day-to-day scenario. Study the revenue goals, understand the strategies used to meet the goals. Understand key asks of the sales leadership team in APAC. Understand the products and how they are used by clients, customers, and consumers.

Bring insights to the discussion on how to develop the organization based on your strong understanding of our product and business, create/select skill maps for various sales roles, and create a training calendar to equip the sales force per the skills maps and deliver to it. The training calendar will include the following key programs in addition to timely needs
*
Onboarding: Own and partner with various sales channels to deliver onboarding
*
Sales 100 Days: Customize the global sales 100 days programs for the region and deliver/deploy these programs effectively
*
Prepare the sales teams for all new product launches proactively, working closely with the marketing team. This includes conducting round tables, presentations, office hours as required and contributing to the product content development process as part of the global sales & product training organization
*
Partner with the sales/marketing/sale dev teams for key client education initiatives bringing learning and development insights to client education as required
*
Support major learning events and 'pushes' as required from time to time, including f8, Sales Conferences, Performance review cycle training plans, etc.


Requirements
*
BA/BS degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or other related field
*
5+ years of product support, sales, or marketing experience, ideally with a proven track record of credibility within the Facebook sales organization
*
Experience of working with Facebook as an advertising product Strong cross-functional global project management skills
*
Ability to work with and influence stakeholders up to the executive level
*
Passion for emerging trends and marketing in the digital/media industry
*
Strong verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills with proven history of success working with executive level staff
*
Must be able to keep on track in a fast paced, ever changing environment
*
Ability to learn new product changes and translate them into teachable modules
*
History of creating visually and intellectually stimulating presentations via Keynote and/or PowerPoint
*
Ability to work across geographies and cultures, and varied time zones
*
Open to travel - at least two weeks a quarter but this will change basis business needs
