Description: The Sales Engineering Manager APAC is responsible for managing a team of Sales Engineers that provides technical sales support to existing and potential customers and partners throughout the Asia/Pacific region. The SE team also partners with the regional sales team and provides technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales cycle. As the Manager of the Sales Engineering team you will be responsible for ensuring regional sales and technical goals are achieved and for total customer satisfaction relating to product evaluations, tenders and end customer satisfaction. The Sales Engineering Manager will provide performance management of the core sales engineering team within the region. As a key member of the Asia/Pacific team we seek candidates with proven technical SE leadership experience who can drive the business forward, ensure customer success, and bridge the gap between sales and technology.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years experience in a Sales Engineering management role for a technology company * 5+ years experience supporting the Asia/Pacific region from a sales engineering perspective * 4+ years previous work experience as a Technical Sales Engineer * 2+ years experience working for a networking, telephony or video communications company * Thorough understanding of sales processes and methodologies * BS in Computer Engineering (or equivalent Enterprise IT experience) * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to speak another language strongly preferred * Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, differentiated, defensible messages * Analytical mind to solve problems and position/promote LifeSize products * Excellent customer relationship skills * Results-focused, team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic * Proven leadership and management experience * Understanding of networking concepts and techniques strongly preferred * Ability to travel extensively throughout the Asia/Pacific Region.
