Fujitsu Semiconductor Wireless Products has an opportunity for RF Sub-System Design Engineer who is driven to work on cutting edge designs! The position entails developing RF platform designs utilizing Fujitsu's nextgenerationcellular transceiver ICs. The engineer will analyze and develop block diagrams for system requirements, create and support schematic and PCB designs, and perform validation and optimization of the final product. The engineer will work closely with systems architects and suppliers on rf components selection (Power amplifiers, filters, etc), and will perform validation/characterization testing of these devices. The engineer will be involved with developing and optimizing next generation features and functionality to meet industry needs. the engineer may also engage customers in reviewing and optimizing customer designs utilizing Fujitsu transceivers devices. * Fully versed in all aspects of RF design for Tx and/or Rx circuits a must have * Knowledge of critical requirements: * RX: Gain, Noise Figure, Inter-modulation products, * TX : Gain, harmonics, emissions, modulation, * General requirements for front-end filtering, * Knowledge of ADS and similar development/simulation tools * Full understanding of matching skills * Understanding of insertion and return losses, * Previous cellular product (hand-set or reference) design experience preferred GSM - GPRS and EDGE WCDMA (LTE knowledge a plus) Understanding of 3GPP and other requirements a plus * Knowledge and understanding of RF test equipment a must VSAs, Network Analyzers, signal generators, call simulators, etc * Schematic capture and PCB design tools knowledge/understanding required * 10-15 years experience: Applications Engineering or Product Design/Integration * BS Min, MSEE preferred
