The ideal candidate for the position of Registrar at the New School of Music is someone with a passion for community arts and has a strong interest in developing their career as an arts administrator. NSM is a community music school located in Cambridge that serves students of all ages and levels through music lessons, group classes and community events. This person will have the opportunity to develop relationships across the board with students, faculty, Board members and the community at large. Part-time; 1-5pm, Monday - Friday; some weekend and evening hours as needed Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Registrar will have primary responsibility with all things to do with student registration. Direct responsibilities of Registrar: - Schedules lessons, group classes and make-up sessions - Manages databases for registration - Responsible for tuition invoicing, billing and recording payments - Coordinates master schedule for the School - Represents NSM at community events (concerts, festivals, etc)
