The role of the Regional Sales Coordinator (RSC) is to work closely with the regional sales team to ensure that clients experience a first class relationship with Dow Jones and support the smooth operations of regional sales.
The Regional Sales Coordinator will work closely with the (Senior) Relationship Managers, (Senior) Sales Executives, Customer Value Executives and (Major) Account Managers in support of sales activities, contracting, setup of client accounts and ongoing account changes.
In certain regions, additional responsibilities for the Regional Sales Coordinator may include:- * working directly with clients to resolve ongoing account issues such as change requests and invoicing questions * working with sales management to help co-ordinate team initiatives (such as campaigns or events) * working with the local team to assist with account usage, billing or other data analysis Where appropriate, the RSC's customer interaction will be via telephone and email.
Key Responsibilities
ANALYSIS AND REPORTING * Compile regular or ad-hoc reports on account usage, billing, and vendor business * Prepare user or usage reporting in partnership with local account teams * Partner with the local account teams to resolve billing issues * Assist in making manual adjustments and processing requests for manual invoicing * Calculate and process credit and debit adjustments with Accounts Payable team * Lead Prospecting and lead allocation for East Coast and European Sales Teams * Update the Dow Jones EMG Portal, Private Market's Sales Guide
ACCOUNT SET-UP * Prepare Sales Order Forms according to specific billing requirements for new accounts, additional services, closed accounts, address and contact changes * Collect confirmation documents to verify customer orders, cancellations or changes * Scan Order Forms, contracts and all related information, plus update information in global CRM system * Electronically file contracts and sales orders and create back-up paper files
CUSTOMER AND VENDOR LIAISON * Initiate product trials for new/additional users from Dow Jones, and third party vendors * Act as liaison for new and existing customers through follow-up to ensure correct service levels and rates are applied * Copy and distribute fully executed terms of agreement to customer * Communicate with Vendors to resolve user count and service discrepancies
