Project - Program Manager
The Digital Program Manager for our international event will work across our annual sporting event and Digital Partnerships groups to formulate, develop and execute long-term digital product strategies including but not limited to the event's digital expansion and its mobile application. The Digital Program Manager will be a driver and key point of contact for these initiatives, working closely with diverse teams in dispersed offices to lead projects, track deliverables, communicate status, reach milestones and ultimately deliver dynamic new products to market.
This is a project position with an estimated length of 1 year.
Responsibilities
-The Digital Program Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational, tactical and logistical aspects of multiple large-scale concurrent technical projects, such as the event's digital expansion and its mobile application
-The Digital Program Manager will be a key leader and strategist within the organization when it comes to digital products and action sports, with a demonstrated ability to work across business units and time zones to prepare, develop and launch a wide range of digital initiatives
-The Digital Program Manager will assist the Senior Director on platform development across relevant devices and partners -- mobile, social, E3, broadcast integration, gaming -- as it applies to the expansion of the event and emerging businesses
-The Digital Program Manager will collaborate with design, production, engineering, consumer marketing, sales and editorial teams to develop and deploy compelling digital offerings in an effort grow the brand visibility of the event
-The Digital Program Manager is responsible for creating and executing comprehensive project work plans and revising these plans as appropriate to meet the changing needs and requirements of evolving projects
-The Digital Program Manager will identify internal and external resources needed to execute digital projects and assign responsibilities based on those needs, and is responsible for collecting deliverables and holding groups accountable for tasks
-The Digital Program Manager will take ownership of digital products by leading the notes, comments, revisions, approvals and QA stages of development and launch
