Professional-RAN Engineer
DUTIES: Monitor daily market performance, optimization and hardware issues related to wireless radio network controller (RNC), base station subsystem (BSC) and Node B level; provide technical interface between radio network controller (RNC), Node B and new integration including call flow and network key performance indicator (KPI) analysis; optimize performance of universal mobile telecommunications system (UMTS) and global system for mobile communication (GSM) using optimization techniques, drive test data and Layer 3 messaging analysis; maintain parameter consistency checks in the network and propose new parameter values to enhance network quality; perform tuning of radio network parameters to balance the traffic load on the network for congestion relief activities; assist in proposal preparation and documentation responses for regulatory agencies.
Qualifications: REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science followed by five years of progressive experience in providing technical interface between radio network controller (RNC), Node B and new integration including call flow and network key performance indicator (KPI) analysis; optimizing performance of universal mobile telecommunications system (UMTS) and global system for mobile communication (GSM) using optimization techniques, drive test data and Layer 3 messaging analysis.
