Production Engineer
Systems owner for network's media asset management/production automation platform (FORK) and Newsroom Control Systems (iNews).
Own and mange the evolution of the production workflows within the facility, making sure users can and do take advantage of the production tools provided my network's systems.
Manage networking, servers, desktop systems and applications for production staff in a fast paced newsroom environment.
Cultivate deep knowledge of the day to day workflows for Live TV production and how these are implemented across multiple levels of hardware and software.
Act as production liaison to the rest of the Information Technology team.
OS X, Windows and Linux in an Active Directory / LDAP environment.
Final Cut Pro and Quicktime.
Episode Engine and FlipFactory.
XML files and protocols, including MOS.
SDI Signal paths, including AJA cards, video routers, switchers and encoders
