We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting and tailoring our solutions to all the markets where Google does role: Product Manager, Data, Home and CPE, Google Fiber Google Fiber is an exciting new business for Google aiming to deploy next generation, gigabit Internet speeds to the home. On March 29th and May 17th we announced that weâ??re starting to build our ultra-high speed network in Kansas City, KS and Kansas City, MO, respectively. Weâ??d love for you to join us in helping to re-shape and revolutionize the way people connect to the web! As product manager of data, home and CPE (Customer Premises Equipment), you will take the lead in defining the architecture and design of the data service offering between the home network and the ponsibilities: * Take responsibility for the overall success of the data service offering between the home network and the CPE. * Collaborate with our product marketing organization to set pricing and overall rates as we move forward. * Serve as the point person for the user service in the marketplace. * Take responsibility for the product and design imum Qualifications: * BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical field. In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant work experience. * 5 years of experience in a product management, engineering and technology strategy role. * Direct experience with in home networking and customer facing with an understanding of the market, the competition and use ferred Qualifications: * MS or PhD degree. * 8 years of experience in a product management, engineering and technology role * Experience developing Internet products and technologies. * Familiarity with business issues or the ability to quickly learn. * ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) experience. * Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical ly now
