- Main liaison between all Network sport categories that have shows on ABC and the operational & production staff at ABC New York. - Oversees the staff that schedules and integrates all produced sporting events on ABC. - Understands and is able to execute all of the complexities of regionalized broadcasts and can direct a production team to handle those challenges. - Coordinates and executes reverse mirror broadcasts of ABC regionalized games onto designated networks. - Assigned to produce more highly visible shows & events - Coordinates with members of production and technical staffs to create informative and entertaining programs - Organizes and evaluates the content for assigned shows & events; determines the agendas and flow of assigned programs - Oversees a staff of subordinates who coordinate and assign staffing for all ABC sports news programs - Coordinates with the on-air staff to produce accurate and informative stories and content - Operates within the context of defined sports program concepts, objectives and outcomes - Determines the content and focus of each assigned program including the stories comprising the program; identifies and follows-up on emerging stories and breaking news - Uses mastery of sports knowledge and judgment to determine the agenda, concepts and content of assigned sports programs
