SUMMARY
Videographer for sportscasts, live events, show opens and promotion - lighting and audio skills are required. The position will include directing local sports news shows and technical direction of live sporting events.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ú Photojournalist for daily sports programming. ú Edit video for daily sportscasts and various programming. ú Camera operator on LIVE sporting events ú Operates DSNG vehicle for LIVE events. ú Directs assigned sportscasts - makes decisions on camera angles, video/audio, graphics, and show pacing. ú Faxes equipment daily and reports discrepencies. ú Coordinates with master control before and during each broadcast. ú Technical Director on live sporting events. ú Performs editing functions for promotions as required. ú Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that works well with co-workers, supervisors and customers. ú Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
ú College degree in broadcast journalism or related field preferred. ú Minimum 1 year production experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. ú Experience as a non-linear editor. ú Ability to shoot and edit videotape. ú Production experience to include video camera, audio and graphics. ú Knowledge of computer hardware to interface with production system. ú Computer literate. ú Good oral and written communication skills. ú Good organizational skills and the ability to work in stressful situations. ú Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
