Optical Maintenance Technician
Volt Workforce Solutionshas a temp-to-hire position open for an Optical Maintenance Technician in Clackamas, OR. Under close supervision you will perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on equipment as needed. You will be requested to clean and ensure correct operation of equipment, maintain accurate records and immediately communicate technical issues.
Job Responsibilities:
* Performs and verifies coating line start-ups; monitors performance of coating equipment and uses prescribed methods and procedures.
* Performs daily checks on equipment.
* Maintains logs and records of daily observations.
* Reports problems or inconsistencies to Supervisor or Lab Manager.
* Completes preventative maintenance on a regular basis.
* Assists with specific maintenance projects as directed.
* Complies with all safety regulations and quality standards.

Requirements:

Optical Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
* Optical experience/knowledge of lens laboratory or equivalent - this is normally acquired through 1-2 years as a Lab t be able to:
* lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
* sit or stand for prolonged periods
* perform repetitive movements with the upper extremities
* maintain periods of prolonged visual concentration
* Basic reading, writing and mathematical ability is required.
* Electrical and Mechanical aptitude is required.
