Near Field Communications and mCommerce Specialist
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, Marketing or Business; MBA degree preferred.
• Minimum 2-4 years direct working experience with a wireless or mobile commerce centric company with exposure to product development cycles and product development requirements.
• Strong knowledge of overall remote and proximity payment technologies and exposure to payment industry desired but not required.
• Strong knowledge of the mobile network, applications, and the business models of North American and International wireless carriers.
• Data driven with strong analytical and cross-group collaboration skills to bring the organization to consensus on decisions on both short and long-term product plans
• The ability to think differently and challenge conventional wisdom.
• Excellent Problem solving skills and attention to details. Must be able to identify and escalate potential issues as well as implement recommended solutions.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills. Requirements gathering and writing- technical writing skills required
• The ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a matrix environment.
• Self-motivated and must be able to work independently for the work assigned.

• This position may require some travel (25%).The Near Field Communications Consultant will be responsible for the development and management of the product roadmap for proximity/Near Field Communications (NFC) products in the proximity payments/ mobile commerce category including Isis. In addition, the consultant will be responsible for the product lifecycle management for the mCommerce product portfolio.
-Manage product lifecycle for the mCommerce product portfolio and lead the cross-functional core team to quantify, plan and execute the required internal developments for the new solution. Manage entire product development cycle using the internal stage gate process starting from initial concept validation to design and development leading in to product launch and lifecycle management. Work with GTM team for all activities to announce, launch and deliver the products to market
-Conduct regularly scheduled core team meetings and manage the VZ Launch process, including follow up meetings as required with functional counterparts weekly cross-functional meetings for specific categories and products, customer projects or new product development initiatives.
-Document and drive requirements based on the VZ Launch process including Marketing Service Requirements, NPDs and device requirements. Manage vendors and drive product requirements with external partners to execute on the product roadmap.
-Market segment analysis, statistical data analysis, input into business case modeling.
Reporting and Analytics with the ability to identify trends and opportunities. KPI reporting, Operations Review Presentations and Project Updates
