National Sales Executive

The Sales Executive sells TAS technology and analytical products & services focusing on new business. Individual spends significant time prospecting; utilizes consultative skills to gain knowledge of the customers business strategies, products, services, marketing techniques and policies. Individual develops account plans that meet the goals and objectives of respective area of responsibility. Individual works in an environment with a complex financial structure and decision making hierarchy; with a strong IT and financial foundation; recommends the appropriate solution(s). Individual partners with sales engineers, product management and other personnel as needed to close the sale.


Experience selling software to financial services, telecommunications, or retail organizations at high levels in a b2b environment. Understands the use of Analytics to address potential business issues. Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, and five years successful sales experience required. High level of expertise in financial services; understanding of retail, telecommunications and utility industries. Previous outside direct sales experience. (5+ years) Understands a more complex financial structure and hierarchy. IT influence, understands technology, core accounting systems, platforms; advanced understanding of technology components, Works with individuals within company and within client to achieve the sale. Proven track record of successfully positioning and selling enterprise software and consulting serives oriented solutions History of consistently exceeding business development goals. Highly motivated, independent, self starter that requires minimal direction. PC knowledge and experience with understanding of basic technology components. Identify and target potential financial services firms, retailers, telecommunication companies, utility companies, and other organizations as assigned. Develops relationships utilizing technical and analytical skills to create and recommend solutions to prospects to include financial analysis, ROI, and timelines Expertise in the risk management, optimization, fraud and analytics, marketplace preferred


 


 


Utilizes consultative sales techniques demonstrating effective questioning techniques, acquisition of new information, insight into problems and needs of clients and prospective clients, and development of viable solutions which consider technical, analytical and organizational needs; produces documented sales results which reflect consistency, territory growth, and client satisfaction. Excellent questioning/investigative skills to uncover customers needs and creatively translates to TAS solutions. Ability to prospect and conduct cold calls on prospective clients to ask for a meeting and the business via telephone and in-person Ability to quickly qualify new accounts, understand client objectives and challenges, recognizing symptoms, and formulating effective solutions and alternatives; provides effective solutions that are supported by sound cost accounting principles. Creates an initial and lasting positive impression and relationship with Equifax prospects, clients and other employees; exemplifies high standards in the areas of business integrity, ethics, dress, energy, and professional demeanor in order to yield individual and organizational success; ensures that the sales force does the same. Assists in preparing and closing sales proposals which include technology and analytics that are specific and appropriately technical in nature; provides direction and approval for profitable pricing standards; ensures that Equifax is not put into situations and commitments where delivery may be compromised. Develops cross-functional relationships that demonstrate teamwork and respect with the following groups: sales management, sales support, professional services, finance, strategic pricing, operations, marketing, sales peers, human resources and administration. Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills with high level of experience with group or committee dynamics. Communicates information, concepts and ideas clearly and effectively to others; conducts effective presentations extemporaneously and with extensive planning time. Excellent listening skills and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation skills. Participates in and manages negotiation process with prospects.
