National Manager, Field Marketing Operations

To National Manager (NM), Field Marketing Operations,  is responsible for the operational direction of the Field Marketing Organization. This position will be the primary interface with Outsource Partner in terms of establishing directives, reporting timelines, collection/analytics of market sensing data and facilitating any unique requests (S)he will be primarily responsible for achieving FMO objectives and attaining acceptable ROI levels. Incumbent will ensure development and execution of sound operational business plans. This is a leadership position and NM will have substantial experience in motivation, training, analytics and outsourced field marketing model.
Location: STA HQ: Dallas, TX;  If virtual, 85-90% travel requirement
Common Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
To develop the model and deliver the “best in class” field marketing organization
•    Determines with Sr. Manager, FMO monthly priorities and establish plans to execute; exceed expectations and deliver appropriate reports & measurements.
•    Ensure consistency in the application of standards and systems for evaluating field force performance, operations and appropriate customer service
•    Must be able to interact and negotiate with all levels of Samsung and retail partners
•    Provide monthly business status review to key constituents on problems, opportunities, successes and key learning. Conduct monthly and quarterly analysis of progress against objectives. Included in analysis should be: elements of launch performance, VOC, competitive analysis, channel performance, training results and merchandising efforts
•    Must be able to develop effective working relationships with all internal and external customers
•    Responsible for allocation and distribution of product literature, sales tools and other resources to Field Team. Works closely with Blue Door team and establishes appropriate budgets.
•    Must be able to anticipate future needs/opportunities and integrate them into FMO annual plans
•    Coordinate and conduct monthly RM team meetings
•    Extensive travel. Up to 80-90%.
Background/Experience:  
Proven experience and success leading large teams
•    Experience in working with outsourced serve providers
•    A minimum of 7yrs+ years related experience in Retail, Planning, Telecom and Merchandising
Necessary Skills/Attributes:
Must be able to interact and negotiate within all levels of STA, Outsource Partner, Carriers and all retail partners. Communicate, cooperate and collaborate with others to achieve identified goals. Ability to foster effective working relationships with all internal and external customers
•    Plan, organize and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.  Adapt willingly and quickly to changing priorities and responsibilities
•    Ability to lead, motivate and direct the activities of employees and co workers to establish and attain objectives, project schedules and to execute within specified timeline.
•    Must possess an understanding of, and be able to implement, team concepts within a diverse work group  
•    Organize work flow to manage multiple projects. Accomplish tasks with follow-through to completion.
•    Stay current with field marketing and product trends
•    Travel approximately 70% of time.
