Job Description
•Analyze and collect business requirements to transform them in technical specs understood by other team members and following global EBM methodology
•Develop software to implement Electronic Batch Management (EBM) system interfaced with other local and global systems
•Ensure link between Process Control System (PCS), Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and other Enterprise systems such as ERP, Discoverant, LIMS, etc...
•Produce and deliver fully tested computer programs from detailed program specifications
•Create appropriate program documentation
•Master the computer programming process in both development and maintenance phases
•Contribute and coordinate to validation activities of all official documents (MVP, URS, FS, DS, Trace Matrix, IQ, OQ, PQ, Qualification reports, etc.)
•To provide expertise in testing and Qualification activities linked to his developments
•Provide support on applications supported within the organization. Mentor/train junior team members.
•Communicate status, solutions and concerns. Disseminate information in a timely manner within the team and across functions. Establish and maintain relationships within the business or function.
•To develop and maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures and reference documents related to his technical activities
•Understand and apply S88 (batch process) and S95 (Enterprise to PCS) standards
•Master with VB Script, VB .NET, C++, SQL language
•Participate in an out-of-hours call-out service, as required.
•Understand and integrate Baxter IS standards and policies
Job Requirements
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Automation
•3 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry or biotechnology
•Previous experience of programming in a Manufacturing environment using databases like Oracle or SQL Server is an asset
•Previous experience with ELAN software for Electronic Batch Management preferred
•Project management knowledge
•VB Script, , C++, SQL Language
•Strong communication skills (verbal/written/listening)
•Sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment
•Ability to work independently, under minimal direct supervision
