Conversion Programs Manager - Project Management - Marketing Department
Responsibilities Include:
The Conversions Program Manager is responsible for effectively managing the day to day activities associated with PGWs various conversion programs developed to increase PGWs revenues and improve PGWs financial position. This includes coordinating the installation of gas equipment in customers premises, monitoring and tracking conversions revenues and market share and establishing an external contractor and supplier network. In addition, the Conversions Program Manager balances priorities of departments and projects to ensure overall goals are met.

? Direct all aspects of PGWs conversion programs including but not limited to:
? Customer rebates, Contractor rebates, Incentive programs, etc.,
? Monitor and track marketing, sales activity and revenue forecasts related to conversion programs;
? Develop and manage an external contractor and supplier network for HVAC equipment; and
? Develop training programs for vendors and PGW.
? Direct contract administration process and procedures for outside vendor and supplier network.
? Review contracts for content and accuracy to ensure compliance with terms of contract between PGW and all related contractors, suppliers and vendors. Serves as liaison with Legal department, outside contractors and vendors.
? Increase revenue stream with minimal capital investments to improve PGWs financial position.
? Provide project management leadership to conversion programs and related subcontractor contracts including but not limited to:
? Manage projects in conjunction with PGWs subcontractor;
? Assist customer in the selection of equipment (where appropriate); and
? Develop solutions and assisting in providing initial estimates of costs in conjunction with PGWs partner.
? Provide support to Marketing and Business Development Initiatives designed to grow PGWs market share in all market segments.
? Keep abreast of research and development of new technologies within the natural gas industry working with technical support managers to evaluate these technologies and their potential application at PGW and potential promotion to customers.
? Represent PGW in networking with industry peers and associations to keep abreast of any technical aspects of new HVAC developments, product offerings and regulatory changes.
? Perform other special projects and assignments as requested.


Requirements:

Qualifications:
? Bachelors degree in Marketing, Engineering or other related field of study required, CEM preferred.
? 5 to 7 years of directly related experience with business development, negotiations and project management.
? Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services including product demonstration, sales techniques, and marketing strategy tactics.
? Knowledge and understanding of gas utility industry terminology, equipment, product and services, regulatory environment and PGW Tariff.
? Knowledge of customer service principles and processes for providing good customer service including needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
? Results-oriented individual who is persistent in pursuing issues to a conclusion.
? Excellent leadership ability with a willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions in order to provide guidance to lower level peer group and assist director in identifying the best people for special assignments and advancement.
? Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to apply learned marketing and sales principles to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build long-term constructive and cooperative working relationships with co-workers, vendors, management and outside agencies.
Residency Requirement : All employees of the Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) must live in the City of Philadelphia for the duration of their employment. If a candidate does not live in the City of Philadelphia at the time of hire, he/she must move into the city within twelve (12) months of his/her hire date.
