The new Marketing Coordinator will work full-time in our Stockton, CA office (we are not looking for telecommuters right now). The Marketing Coordinator will roll up their sleeves and assist the Product Manager in spearheading initiatives for their publication. This person will interact with other marketers, technical staff, and editors to help develop requirements and drive projects to completion. The Marketing Coordinator will play a critical role in executing marketing projects to meet goals for generating new and renewal subscriptions; at all times being concerned with enhancing the online user experience and exceeding customer expectations. This person will be immersed in implementing new initiatives, website analytics, architecture, e-mail campaigns, landing pages, conversions, paid-subscribers, social media, blogs, and webinars. This person will communicate well with colleagues, think clearly and creatively, and aggressively meet goals in a very fast moving environment.
Experience in online publishing for a subscription-based publication is preferred.
Requirements:
Roles and Responsibilities: - Assist the Product Manager in managing all activities related to the publication. - Effectively collaborate with business, marketing, and technical teams to help develop project requirements. - Assist in driving projects to successful completion. - Assist in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives. - Communicate project status, conflicts, and resource needs to Product Manager. - Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of each initiative.
Education and Experience Required: - Bachelor?s degree preferred. - 1 year of website product management experience. - Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once. - Outstanding team player with the ability to work effectively with people in various functions and at all levels of the organization. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Excellent analytical skills.
