Marketing/Communications CoordinatorJob Title: Marketing/Communications Coordinator Job Description: This position provides marketing and communications support to The FOX Sports Radio Network. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for working strategically, creatively and innovatively to market and promote the FOX Sports Radio Network and its programming to affiliates and advertisers. Additionally, the position will promote, protect and develop the public and internal image of the FOX Sports Radio Network, including its talent and executives. This position is located in Sherman Oaks, CA.
The FOX Sports Radio Network, based in Sherman Oaks, Calif., is a division of Premiere Networks in partnership with FOX Sports. All entities have combined their considerable resources to develop a turnkey personality-driven and caller-intensive programming opportunity for radio stations nationwide. With studios also in New York, Washington, D.C., Miami, Tampa, Phoenix, Seattle and San Antonio, the FOX Sports Radio Network can be heard on more than 400 stations, as well as on MSN and XM Channel 169. FOX Sports Radio features the following personalities: Dan Patrick, Steve Hartman, Pat O'Brien, Petros Papadakis, Matt "Money" Smith, and JT "The Brick," among others.
Job Description
Marketing/Ad Sales Marketing - Create marketing materials for talent and network programs and distribute to potential clients, affiliates and consumers - Work with FOX Sports Radio sales manager and Ad Sales Marketing to create effective presentations - Liaise with in-house marketing team to create logos, embedded e-mails, advertisements, etc. - Liaise with affiliate marketing to update affiliate website and distribute materials to affiliates
Public Relations/Communications - Write and distribute press announcements - Monitor press coverage and distribute reports to executive teams - Monitor general media for potential opportunities with talent and executives - Promote and execute remote broadcasts and events - Work directly with show producers and talent to develop PR opportunities from show content, interviews, guest appearances, etc. - Field media calls and fulfill media requests - Attend/assist with special events
Digital/Social Media - Ensure is up-to-date and accurate, including show descriptions, talent bios, etc. - Act as point person for FOX Sports Radio Facebook and Twitter feeds and monitor/aid in growth of each - Assist in developing and executing social media strategy in support of marketing and corporate initiatives Job Category: Marketing Location: Southern California, CA Division: Radio Employment Status: Full-Time Job Requirements: Requirements/Skills . 2-3 years experience in public relations, communications or marketing, with genuine interest and passion for sports .
