Groundbreaking digital media company looking for a Junior publicist/social media professional for Communications Department, with at least 2 years experience with a major entertainment company. Undergraduate degree and previous related experience required.
This high-energy, self-motivator will:
- Work with the Vice President of Communications and other departments to create and execute PR and social media campaigns for celebrities and brands. - Possess online and traditional media contacts across the spectrum of entertainment verticals in traditional and online media. - Have developed writing and press release development skills. - Work well with a wide range of people. - Be ready to take -the next step- in their career into an active role in writing, pitching, blogging and liaising with entertainment industry executives. - Be active and comfortable on social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. - Be computer/internet savvy - Possess strong research skills - Have a strong work ethic - Be able to manage time wisely?? - Be results oriented and committed to excellence
