This position is responsible for planning, executing, reconciling, and reporting results of Apria's physical and cycle counting programs. This position is responsible for collaborating with DCs and branches to drive inventory accuracy and adherence to inventory policies. The Inventory Analyst will also be involved in identifying and implementing various process improvement projects
Works on physical inventory including completion of reconciliation process to ensure accurate reporting of inventory results.
Analyzes inventory errors to determine systemic causes and develop possible solutions.
Performs data analysis for on-going identification of process/metrics improvement opportunities
Collaborates with Management to implement key initiatives
Assists in the implementation of cycle count program, month end process, month end analysis, and department projects.
Reviews system(s) reports and summarize key financial information and information related to significant transactions.
Forwards reports and findings to region and corporate management.
Communicates inventory policies and procedures to appropriate personnel.
Responds to field and department users questions.
Performs branch and DC audits to identify process breakdowns and causes of inventory variances
Performs branch and DC training as required
Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education or experience equivalent to a four year degree is required.
At least one year related experience is required.
Must possess strong communication skills and ability to work with all levels of organization
Strong MS Excel and MS Access skills a plus.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to function in a virtual team environment.
10%-20% travel required
