The Role The Bloomberg Installations team is seeking a dynamic individual to handle customer service and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced, technical phone support environment. The person in this role will learn how to effectively guide all Bloomberg clients through procedures necessary to install the Bloomberg software on the client's network. Key responsibilities include, introducing the professional Bloomberg service to first time clients, determining what will be the best infrastructure for client connectivity to Bloomberg within policy, ordering communications lines, assisting with biometric enrollments, working with Sales, dispatching field service engineers, and various other tasks. Responsibilities Based at our New York office, you will be responsible for: -Integrating the Bloomberg product onto the client's network -Coordinating and managing resources to meet project deadlines -Coordinating our field service engineers to ensure they are able to get to client sites -Holding technical discussions with customers on hardware and software -Ordering, monitoring and troubleshooting communication lines -Multitasking with a high volume of simultaneous projects Qualifications: -Previous experience in a helpdesk environment. -Proven excellence in customer service and phone skills. -Solid understanding of PC hardware, operating systems, communication lines and networks. -The ideal candidate will be able to remain calm under pressure, with the ability to inspire confidence in clients regardless of the situation.
