Posted Position Title Installation Consultant Career Level Experienced Function Services Function Segment Field Services Location United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces Vermont City Burlington Postal Code 05403-7771 Relocation Assistance No Role Summary/Purpose Acts as the focal point for all site planning and backlog management activities for the installations for GE Healthcare imaging equipment. Essential Responsibilities This person is responsible for effectively managing the entire installation of the equipment including: equipment/room layouts, customer and contractor interface, and communications link to the sales and service representatives. This person is also responsible for site readiness, customer satisfaction, during the installation cycle as well as installation process improvements. He/She must be able to drive increased installation efficiency and provide feedback to manufacturing and design engineering on instability and product issues/enhancements. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of project management experience or a High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of project management experience. Experience working with customers. Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen. Desired Characteristics 5+ years of experience preferred; Experience with large-scale project management where deadlines where met on or ahead of schedule; construction or installations experience preferred; Demonstrated customer service skills; High energy personality, that thrives working long hours in difficult and pressurized circumstances; Time management skills; Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities; Proven ability to orchestrate resources and motivate teams; Strong written and verbal communications skills that can effectively communicate with a diverse workforce; Ability to drive improvements in efficiency; Ability to provide constructive feedback to installation team and contractors; Knowledge/experience with the healthcare industry; knowledge of GE Healthcare products preferred; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge or experience with CAD and other project management computer programs preferred.
