IT Consultant - IAM Senior Specialist Overview Hospira seeks an experienced Identity Management IdM Senior Specialist to be the subject matter expert for a large IAM implementation. The role will support design, development, configuration, and engineering for IAM initiatives, including but not limited to authentication, authorization, federation, self-service provisioning, password synchronization, single sign-on, workflow automation, and unifying disparate authentication directories. The main components of the implementation consist of developing project requirements, upgrading current systems, creating custom scripts, developing business and technical workflows, and processes to maintain the IAM environment. The IdM Senior Specialist will be responsible for hands on development, infrastructure and integration efforts with current Identity Management solution. The IdM Specialist will work with various project teams and other staff developers to ensure that Information Security Guidelines and standards are adhered to while meeting the requirements of the project. The IdM Senior Specialist must have experience with Hitachi ID P-Synch, LDAP directories, .NET development and deployment on Microsoft IIS, and a good understanding of foundational security infrastructure concepts across operating systems and networking. Skill Set 10+ years of technical architecture experience with integrating identity and access management software into enterprise-wide infrastructure and applications. Extensive knowledge of Identity and Access management solutions, such as Hitachi s ID P-Synch, to lead requirements analysis, design, implementation, and migration for businesses. Significant technical expertise in Identity Management suite of products, Web Technologies, multiple operating systems and programming/development languages and standards such as JAVA/J2EE, XML, JavaScript, .NET, C , SPML, LDAP, JNDI etc. Familiarity with federated identity and web services security concepts such as SAML. Ability to design and build custom connections to incorporate disparate directory sources. Experienced in building a consolidated virtual directories utilizing authoritative data from multiple directories. In-depth knowledge of industry regulations e.g. FDA, HIPAA, SOX, PCI . Deep understanding of current regulatory environment and related implications to identity management and security/audit compliance. Technical Certification s : Certified Information Systems Security Professional CISSP , Project Manager Professional PMP , and/or Certified JAVA Developer is a bonus. Strong experience with one or more directories, including Active Directory and SAP. Responsibilities Implementation of Hitachi ID P-Synch tools for migration / synchronization of data and provisioning / de-provisioning of users. Specifying technical requirements for leadership in the area of data integrity, privacy and security of directory services. Specifying guidelines and supporting processes for integration, administration and maintenance. Customization of Hitachi ID-Synch product functionality to fulfill requirements that cannot be met with standard out-of-box functionality. Interaction with application teams that manage major user repositories to automate/standardize user access request process, gather requirements, design and deliver solution to integrate with the IAM implementation. Development of role-based access control infrastructures based upon business requirements for employees, contractors, customers or third parties. Recommend improvements, corrections, remediation or requirements for associated projects. Advocate secure computing practices and procedures, and communicate Information Security best practices throughout the company.
