Graphic Artist
Conceives designs and layouts, coordinates editorial illustrations and creative artwork for publications such as, brochures, handbooks, and posters. Translates facts, features of subject material into graphic terms, and develops interpretive themes that convey ideas and information.
Creates graphic presentations to communicate concept, insight, viewpoint, and similar visual impressions. Provides guidance on graphic technology and works closely with internal company stakeholders to understand requirements and create graphic designs utilizing available mediums. Responsible for input on reproduction, printing processes through in-house resources or outside vendors and provide computer graphic services for web artwork. Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
Ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert within the organization. Demonstrates the skill able to perform complex tasks. Must have excellent communication skills and the ability present technical approaches and findings effectively. Develop solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives. Most assignments are complex and performed independently. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
Position will support Proposals Department to involve weekend hours, sometimes, with short notice.
Basic Qualifications: BA or equivalent experience of 10 years. Must be have expert experience in the following systems: Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop, and Powerpoint.
