Freelance Studio Technician/Technical Director (Sports Media/PR/Broadcasting)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree (preferably in Communications) or equivalent work experience required
Minimum of three to five years experience in TV Studio Production as a Technical Director.
General understanding of all aspects and duties of a level 1 technician, including: Stage Managing, Studio Camera, Teleprompter, Lighting, Video Tape Playback, Still Store, Video Shading
Functional knowledge and experience on multi-ME video switchers, DVEs, and/or audio mixers and/or graphics platforms
Proficient in live studio and remote program operations
Proficiency in INEWS or similar newsroom management system.
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills required
Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must
Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends & holidays
Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Work with technical staff to satisfy production needs for show, under supervision of Producer and Director.
Perform other duties as assigned
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
