Freelance Broadcast Engineer
Troubleshooting day-to-day technical issues and provide support to in-house post production talent
Maintaining systems to ensure reliably working edit and broadcast equipment
Perform hardware repair for TV broadcast equipment as well as audio and video equipment (component and board level)
The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in the broadcast engineering arena, ideally working for very busy and highly technical production facilities.
Your abilities should include: advanced knowledge of and hands-on experience with broadcast equipment, networks (including switches and routers), servers, audio mixing equipment (Pro Tools) and networking, transcoding systems, digital video encoding systems, maintenance practices, adjust broadcast systems to meet broadcast standards using scopes, calibrators, and analyzers.
