Position Description Position Overview: As an Executive Travel Consultant you'll provide services for both Domestic & International request for Executive and VIP level travelers while adhering to client travel policies as well as the Egencia Corporate policy & procedures. The Consultant will ensure optimal executive level customer service through effective use of all computer systems and tools while maintaining positive telephone service techniques and prompt email replies. Ensuring traveler needs are met and continued support of exceptional travel and value added services.
Position Description: . Handle/Arrange all domestic and international travel related requests for air, rail, hotel. This position also requires handling of airport transfers, meet & greet services, private charters/corporate jet. This position may also be required to book restaurant, theatre, concert request. . Demonstrates a highly professional attitude and personal presentation in all verbal and written communications . Maintain and promotes professional and courteous client relations by managing a prompt and accurate response to telephone and email communications . Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, high level of accuracy and efficiency including ability to develop, offer, and execute multiple itinerary and pricing options via email and or telephone . Achieves individual and contractual service level goals as related to telephone, email, quality and productivity . Maintains client profiles, ensuring all special request and loyalty programs are included and up to date . Counsel clients on most efficient routes, lowest available fares in accordance with client policy, and preferred carrier usage . Assist with exchange rates and travel products/service . Some leisure travel request maybe required . Will serve as first point of contact for travelers, traveler arrangers, and travel managers. Providing support for customer service and technical issues . Attend team meetings and training meetings for updates on process and procedures both internal and external . Adheres to all Egencia quality standards in delivering customer service including telephone/email etiquette and follows all outlined customer service escalation procedures . Remain informed of all airline rules and regulations . Provide priority wait-listing, preferred seat selection, upgrade management for air and / or hotel as required, ensuring special preferences are requested 100% of the time . Monitor, sort and work all GDS and ExpeRT queues daily to maintain quality control . Flexibility to work any shift as needed , this includes nights and weekends . Strong teamwork and flexibility . Performs other duties as assigned . Will provide VIP booking reconfirmations, customer service issue research, follow-up and resolution. . Performs other duties as assigned
Skills: . 5 to 7 years of recent Corporate Travel vious VIP experience a preferred . Highly experienced in reading, defining and applying International tariff, taxes, hub utilization and explicit knowledge/application of International airline contracts . An outstanding customer service focus . Able to work in a fast paced environment, and multi-task several duties . Ability to work autonomously and independently, combined with creative problem solving skills . Demonstrate strong organization and efficiency skills . Some PC and office equipment troubleshooting skills helpful . Demonstrates strong aptitude/understanding for booking highly international itineraries . Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and ability to multi-task while maintaining exemplary detail accuracy under pressure. . Demonstrates a high-level of skill in international reservations, reissues/exchanges, split ticketing and proven 1st class customers service
Minimum Requirements: . 5 to 7 years of experience using a GDS (preferably Sabre and WorldSpan)
